Reform 2025 Limited new name same business

When I last looked, Reform were 15 points clear of every other party and Starmer as PM is
about as welcome as hemorrhoids, these posts are a fascinating peep into alternative opinions.

Welcome. Good to see people signing up for their opinions on politics, rather than the football ;-)

What’s your opinion on Reform’s recent statement on changing the rules on ILTR, returning workers back to their country of origin?

Oh, I'll comment on the football, I'm a lifelong Manchester City supporter, as for your point
about ILTR and Reform, personally I don't believe it dissuades supporters in any way, but as it's
a very recent announcement, we wait and see.

Long way to go and Farage's comments yesterday didn't land so well, Reform will be exposed for the frauds they are closer to election.
Well maybe, but Labour have already proven themselves to be frauds with virtually every
single promise broken, the Conservatives are now finished, gone, Kaput, hence the massive
surge to the only other alternative.

Reform showing what a RACIST, FAR RIGHT party that they are.

The Labour Party particularly others need to wake up and call this out in the strongest terms. The Government needs to start being bold and making tough decisions on taxation to improve services and the lives of people (eg a digital tax on transactions and yes a wealth tax). It's long been clear that Starmer and Reeves are not up to the job. Manchester's loss would be a potential gain and saviour. Burnham needs to get into Parliament as soon as possible. Granted, I don't live in the Manchester area so it's easy for me to say that and while no one is perfect, he would be a loss, but there is wider need to improve the lives of the majority in this country and save it from the far right Reform.

Personally speaking, at 60, as a mixed race son of an immigrant (who worked here for his last 50 years on this planet), for the 1st time in my life, I am genuinely concerned for my family's and my own security, and whether we can continue to live here.

I wonder how must all my lovely colleagues who have come here to this country to serve it, providing an important and valuable service, must feel.

It won’t dissuade the racists, they are happy to see people who are here legally having their rights removed and deported. As with Brexit, isolation and fewer ‘foreigners’ is the driving force and no amount of rational thinking or economic harm is impacting that. They also want to see people worried and afraid because they enjoy it.

Against this is the fact the election is three years away and events have a habit of derailing future electoral projections and then there is reality, specifically we have a labour and skills shortage, which means you need people.

The ‘Boriswave’ is also the ‘Brexitwave’ - you can see why Farage is keen to rebrand it - so if people want a second bite at living in a fantasy world then have at it, but no amount of flag waving or roundabout painting is changing the reality of the world we live in.

I want to vote for the racist c*nt so I’ll make out it was the only option I had.
