Haha, it's the hope that kills ya, both you and I know Reform will be in power in the not to distant future and I'm lovin seeing all the haters shitting it.
You will regret voting for them after they gain power, as much as the rest of us will
You aren't paying attention to what they are about. A Party formed by millionaires for the benefit of millionires, backed up with 97% of their funding coming from millionaires. Their chief donor is an advocate of free market policies, with zero constraints like employment, consumer and environmental legislation currently impeding their hunger for wealth.
Don't kid yourself they have your best interests at heart. They dont care about anyone or anything other than themselves, and they are seriously taking the piss out of you. You just haven't noticed it.
They are laughing thier heads off about how easily they have managed to gain so much support from ordinary people, and are ecstatic about just how easy it has been to dupe so many into supporting them with their trojan horse of migrants being the root cause of their struggles. Human rights? Nah, we dont need them because we can't treat foreigners like shit can we? Well, no, we can't, but it's not migrants thay are targeting. It's you and me.
They can't slash the welfare bill by £240B a year unless it's you and me they have in their sights.
You need some help with chronic mental health problems? Sorry buddy, you're just having a bad day. Get over it and get back to work.
Reform : I don't want to pay tax to support your malingering nonesense.
An American style heathcare system with insurance, and a basic NHS for those that can't afford it.That sounds great, until you dig a little deeper and understand there would be no restorative plastic surgery for burns victims, or prosthetic limb provision for amputees.
Reform : Why should I pay tax for that. You can hop to the shops if you've lost a leg. There's nowt wrong with your good one.
When did people with money advocate and promote progressive social legislation like the NHS, pensions, food standards, employment protections, and so on? Well, they never have, and reform MP's have shown their true colours in this parliament by voting against the rent reform and employment protection bills. There isn't much support for average folks struggling to get by on that score from the so called party of the people, is there?
I'm part of the first generation in this nations history to live their entire lives with the benefits of the welfare state, which I'm sure you have as well, but make no mistake, if reform get in, we will be the only generation in this contries history to have enjoyed the benefits it has given us.
Support reform and vote for them if you want to, but be under no illusion you will be nothing but a turkey voting effectively for Christmas, and they will be in convulsions of laughter for you supporting it.
