Reform 2025 Limited new name same business

Reform UK has the smallest proportion of women on ballot papers in the local elections in England, at 23%. Labour is the closest to achieving gender parity, with 42% of its candidates women, followed by the Green party (41%), the Liberal Democrats (33%) and the Conservatives (31%).

I presume that translated into actual results... I just checked St Helens: 29 men, 5 women (and as it's fallen, only one other woman, the only Tory left).

Comedy gold. I'm not sure who are the thickest, those that voted for them or the "councillors" themselves. The more I read about them, the more I think Labour should risk an election. Reform are clearly not able to run a bath let alone a country.

EDIT. And Jenrick just mauled on LBC trying to defend it.

Kate Rowland has resigned from Reform. She was 1 of the councillors for Shildon, Co. Durham. She owns The Duck pub in Crook and was responsible for recruiting at least 5 people to stand at the last local election. An aside on this is that her pub is a well known drugs den in the area.

Whilst I was out this morning I was talking to one of the local council refuse workers. He told me that the council, run by Reform, have just announced 25% of the refuse staff have just been laid off and they will no longer be any overtime. That will work a treat then.

At a time when Farage has just announced he would remove income tax on any overtime.
Well that's that one solved. "we won't tax your overtime, it's just that you won't be getting any"

And that’s how you promise “no tax on overtime”…

Overall crossings in small boats are well down this year but 1000 came this week, prompting Jenrick to come up with this.

"At Reform we don’t want hundreds of thousands of people coming into the country, we want net emigration – that means more people leaving every year than are coming in.”

The Reform Treasury spokesman also said the latest statistics showed a “massive problem with emigration of bright young people”.

“These are people leaving the country who don’t think there’s any hope, and that is what Reform is going to change,” Mr Jenrick added.

So to get net emigration Reform is going to change it so people who do think there's any hope will leave....

How stupid do people need to be to listen to this arse?

During Robert Jenrick’s tenure as Immigration Minister (October 2022 to December 2023), UK net migration peaked. The Office for National Statistics (ONS) reported that net migration hit a record high of approximately 764,000 in the year ending December 2022 and remained exceptionally high, over 670,000, in the year ending December.

"Im a bit rough round the edges"

Right. If I was an interviewer speaking to one of these morons I think id come up with a quiz.

Who's the leader of every political party currently in Westminster
Whats the capital of Canada/Australia
How are the nations growth figures calculated and what's the alternative measurement
Which organisation green lights governmental economic strategy
What is the current minimum wage
Who is the current leader of the house in America
What is the currency of Sweden
Who is the current housing secretary
Etc etc etc

You know... not crazily difficult stuff but hard enough to work out if someone is suitable to be an MP. This fuvkwit will potentially be on his feet representing a constituency in parliament. And to the untrained eye, he seems like a fckin moron. Dont get me wrong, I've knocked around with and worked with plenty of simple lads, many of them are salt of the earth and would back you up if in trouble etc. But this job is deadly serious and a highly professional role. It's a very important job!! Sending him to parliament would be like sending Count Binface..who again... i bloody love. But wouldn't want him on a housing select committee.
