Refugee crisis

You have evidence of that stuff? Men leaving all of their female relatives behind? I would say there is the odd case of mum and dad giving their son all that they have and telling him to get the fuck out of the country though.

That's a no then , thousands of Europeans did this to fight the Nazis during WW2, maybe the definition of bravery in war has changed , it used to be fighting to protect your family or Country , not taking a group selfie on a Turkish beach.

If we had the same attitude as them, we'd all be talking German now.

Enjoyed that

The only way I can see this ending is basically another Gulf War co alition, in that the Arab states involved with the west and we use for example Kuwait as a base to attack with massive ground forces to wipe ISIL out, we can't bomb them because of how they out themselves in civilian areas so we would have to go thorough cities taking them out, it would be a lot bloodier than gulf war 1 and I don't think the USA has the stomach for it, unless the oil fields become threatened.

the only way I can see this ending is if we tell turkey to stop bombing the Kurds and attack ISIL, Tell the PKK to stop blowing up turkish site in retaliation and concentrate on fighting ISIL, Ask Iran to properly get involved and tell the saudi's to fuck off if they complain, stop selling the saudi's arms while at it, shame the european countries buying oil of ISIL, and admit it was the west and the US again causing this with the encouragement in the destabalising of Assad because of his ties with Russia not to help Syrians to be free from his regiem, and help end this civil war so the country will heal, though Assad needs to go but while there are several forces fighting each other ISL wil not be defeated

Kurds and Turks fighting in Switzerland now too, guy drove a car through a protest madness. They really hate eachother, already been scrapping in Germany and they have a huge Turk element.

this is one of the problem, many of these refugee's are Kurdish iraqi's who are treated as sub human in the turkish refugee camps, so they moved on to europe,

In Bern the Turks had permission for a rally but the kurds turned up unannounced before hand and wouldn't move on. The police tried to cancel the Turkish rally but they weren't having it and showed up for the fight. It went on sporadically all day.

Meanwhile the latest polls here have the SVP (swiss peoples party)gaining more support in the run up to next months elections.

The swiss are a pretty xenophobic bunch at the best of times, aren't they?

Seems to be the impression I get from the numerous friends who live in the country.

Seen the footage of the hit and run? Ruthless it was.

So having invited hundreds of thousands of migrants to Germany, and thus causing hundreds of thousands to start heading that way, Germany has now closed it's border crossing with Austria.

Can't help thinking that the German government is actually trying to cause trouble deliberately.
