Refused Halal Meat

No Jewish restaurant would ever have non-kosher meat (or non-kosher food of any type) on the premises and any that wish to claim formal Kosher status are regularly inspected by the Beth Din, which is the local religious authority. Some may even have inspectors permanently on the premises watching everything they do.

I don't know how far Muslims take it but I suspect that even putting non-Halal meat on a grill used for Halal meat might well be a problem.

No use getting someone else to eat it if he was hungry himself.
I bet we'll over half the Board will have to read that 4 or 5 times over to get it....... too subtle!

I've posted before that I worked in slaughter houses for 10+ years.
The Jews are very very strict over Kosher, only certain people with certain knives etc will be used, some Muslims on the other hand(from my experience) don't give a fuck.I had a couple of geezers on multiple occasions who were doing the killing,(as it should be) turn round to me and say "Andy can you take over,I need to go to the bank",or some other excuse.....1500 lambs an hour and they'd be gone for at least 2,all done in by me,and sold or served claimed to be Halal.

Time to put this myth of halal to rest. One has to understand what halal is.

To sum it up in few words, animal/poultry to be slaughtered by the neck. That's it. Whether a prayer is said thats up for discussion. The Jews would call it Kosher. No difference between halal or kosher meat.

And on to eating halal meat from certain places. Some fellow muslims really do my head in when they call for halal meat only. One has to question the quality of meat first before questioning if its halal meat or not. Yet Most of these takeaway serve halal meat but quality is shite! However consumers will eat it cos its halal. WTF. Don't make sense.

Lastly the OP, i don't know any restaurants who would serve halal only to muslims. Doubt your story.

Difference to Halal and Kosher mate is...........Kosher is a fucking brutal way to kill an animal,no humane way about it whatsoever.....I watched it day in day out for just over 10 years.Muslims tend to use old Ewe's rather than lambs, depends what it's for.
Not having a go by the way.

This is going to sound ridiculous but what is a Jewish restaurant? I'm unsure I've even knowingly seen one before. I know all about halal and only tend to eat it when I'm out for curry or having a takeaway at the end of the night (as opposed to buying my meat from a halal butcher); but couldn't even begin to suggest where one might be. Stamford Hill?!

I had a curry in Prestwich once. My pal back then was Jewish. Very middle class family. That's about it. I'd genuinely struggle to name a typical Jewish dish.

What a load of uninformed rubbish.
The prayer is what makes the meat halal.
If you don't know what your talking about don't chat shit.

Same as kosher the blood has to be drained from the animal, which is why eating kosher slaughtered meat is OK to eat for muslims.
