We should not allow anyone to slaughter animals in an inhumane way just because of their religious rules.

In fairness, I know a number of Muslims who don't eat pork and don't drink; but aren't bothered about whether meat is halal or not. Having a selective approach to ones faith is quite 21st century.

Having said that, I still think Ste hasn't been straight with us.
