Bein' the optimistic sort , i thought i'd take a chance an' invest in one of those registry fixers that promise to make your computer 'like new again' , so i opted for what was widely considered the best one an' bought a program called 'Regcure' ...... well guess what ..... it did absolutely fuck all!

So if you're tempted to try to repair any registry problems you might have , without completely reinstallin' windows , don't go for this one ........ in my experience this program did absolutely nothin' that it said it would on the box!

Needless to say i got me money back!

I have heard Regclean is a good one but have not tried it myself.

I've only ever used CrapCleaner to do anything to my registry. Although tbh, when I got my mac, I loved the fact that it doesn't do registry-style crap!

i have used registry mechanic before. Thats not a bad one
