JOTL is correct, much of his humour stems from pointing out that he is black and others aren't.

Most black comedians do though (even though like I said I've never noticed it with RDH) look at, Richard Pryor, Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy, Gina Yashere, Lenny Henry, Dave Chappelle...
Shame on you for putting Lenny Henry in with that company! Henry has to be the unfunniest 'comedian' I've ever seen.

Chris Rock does go on about being black, but to be fair America still has a lot of race issues - I think he raises some very good stuff in his stand up. I also like Gina Yashere, very funny woman.

Now I never said Lenny Henry was funny now ;-)

He's probably the most driest comedians I've ever seen....... Why else would he be doing Premier Inn adverts....

That's a very fair point. He's probably being 'ironic', and it has nothing to do with the money! :-)

It should just be a 2 minute advert of him telling jokes broadcasted on late time radio... people will be queuing up for beds...

Funny on panel shows but found him deadly boring when i saw him in Birmingham a few weeks ago. More philosophising/lecturing going on than comedy. Was glad when it finished.
