Fans from other clubs posting on here?

Its not a problem, as i quite like the opposing opinion or a different point of view on certain topics, as it gives 'debates' a more balnace and varied points.

But why do you do it, as i would never go on an opposing fan forum, as the general bias (And i know there is on here too) would do my nut in?

Viva Rivaldo and the rest, why does bluemoon appeal to you?

If they're going to add to the debate with some good opinion then they're very welcome on here, IMHO. I'd even like to see genuine rags as long as they don't register as Massive Bertie from Stockport or something.

I contribute to two other Clubs forums for two completely different reasons (nowhere near to the level I do on Bluemoon) - and read half a dozen others. I also looked up Villa forums when McLeish got the job to see what they were saying. It was worse than any Hughes Out on here or elsewhere.

Opposition fans make the vibe a bit more interesting.

Totally agree with Peoffrey if other clubs' fans want to contribute in a reasonable way I think it adds to the thread.

Would never dream of posting on others clubs' forum but I do have a cheeky look about a day or so before we play a team to gauge their opinion of us.

I visit others to see what their opinions are, or how bent out of shape they are about city at the moment. But would never post on another fan forum.

Stuff like this is gold

He's not even that good anyway. Sandro > Jenas > Parker > Modric

no place in our squad for rats with girly headbands.

Well, I first came on here because I was bored with just contributing to a United forum (redcafe) and not getting many opposition fans' views (though you had the odd few, like newtonheathdave who was a fantastic poster on redcafe). It's always more fun when you get proper conflicting views - for example, I hate going down the pub and only hearing from my own team's fans, it's just a bit dull.

Quite a few people were hostile to me when I signed up here and said I was a United fan, which is understandable because of how many WUMs there must have been, but once I started talking football, it was fine. Even Damocles (who shafted me with his banning stick at least once) is now civil towards me, which is cool.

The reason I stayed here and keep on posting is because I genuinely enjoy it. There's some great characters on here, and it's fun to get into some of the discussions. Don't get me wrong, I love redcafe and have made lots of mates on there, but due to the nature of United and the international nature of the website, the ratio of actual Mancunians is lower than on here. I don't mind out of town fans in the slightest; if you love the club, you're fine, but sometimes you just wanna hear from a few more locals.

Plus, the transfer forum is mental, and makes great reading.

-- Mon Jun 20, 2011 2:30 pm --

And I just realised I have nearly 1,000 posts in about 6 months. That's either really depressing, or rather impressive. Probably the former.

Agree with this. I enjoy reading things from other fans point of view and find Viva Rivaldo and Castiel add to the forum in a good way ( there are others but those two came to mind straight away) They seem very reasonable and I find they are happy to discuss the positives and negatives of their own clubs as well as city which often leads to some interesting debates on here. I'm glad they do post on here and hope they continue.

My reasons pretty much agree with Viva Rivaldo's assessment. You sort of get bored with your own camp sometimes, at least you do if you like seeing multiple viewpoints on issues like myself and presumably Viva Rivaldo. Bluemoon is also a very entertaining place to contribute in.

I like opposition fans on here, it makes it more interesting. It's good to see different opinions.
I don't like it when they come here under false pretences and pretend to be City fans though.
