Hi,
The ex-wife has been playing with the kids' computer and decided to delete stuff to speed it up. Unfortunately, it appears she deleted drivers installed on it. When you turn it on now it says it has found 3 new bits of hardware and tries to install the drivers.
The items are the 'sm bus controller', the 'coprocessor' and the 'ethernet controller'. I know I need to re-install the drivers but because of what she has deleted there is no internet access; I assume that's due to the ethernet one...there is no wireless on it so can't connect that way!

How can i install the drivers?

Help needed please!!!!

System restore to a date before the dope who did it touched the thing.

Thanks.
I do that during startup don't I? And is it easy to pick the date?
No you can start up then run System Restore and it should be easy to pick the date.

You've now learned a valuable lesson. Women and technology do not mix.
