Rekik to Blackburn

That would be ideal for him, I guess. Then he can compete in the summer for the 3rd or 4th spot as a CB assuming Lescott won't stay. If Lescott stays then maybe one more year of a loan for Rekik - he would be still only 19 in the summer of 2014.

Seems a few loans are being set up,can only be a good thing playing competitive football as well as appreciating how good they have it at City.

he wasn't in the squad for the EDS game today, and wasn't in last week's first team squad now that we are getting back to full strength. It must mean something is being arranged

This was in the Mirror two days ago, it said Appleton wants him if Martin Olsson is sold.

Would be a good move for him, think he has the ability to be a top player for us, and more game time will only help him!

He was training with the first team today.

Surprised he didn't get a crack against Stoke, as a natural centre-half replacement for Kompany. Perhaps Mancini didn't fancy him against Stoke's thugs.

I'd much prefer him to go on loan to a club that is willing to play at him at centre-back, but this would be good I guess.

Still don't understand why we're so reluctant to send Suarez out on-loan.

Good move for him if it comes off, it will be interesting to see where they play him as at only 6ft making it as a centre half may be tricky, he may be better suited to a full back roll in the long run

Because Suarez can fill in should an injury or ban happen for Nasri and/or Silva (god forbid).

That's what a recall clause is for.

I think thats why it took so long for the sub to come on as well as them needing to warm up.

Mancini was in two minds, bring on Rekik and stick to the same formation or bring on Clichy and go three at the back.

Rekik isn't a midget so I think could have handled himself against Stoke. An early goal I think would have meant he came on.

How many clubs have asked for his services ?
