As bad as Newcastle are that's probably the end for Fulham.
They're on 26 points at the moment. They've got three home games left, against (I think) Wolves, Burnley and Newcastle. They have to win those three games, and get possibly 4 points from their trips to Villa, Arsenal, Chelsea, Southampton and utd. I wouldn't be putting big money on them staying up now. They really needed to win tonight.

They just don't have enough anywhere on the pitch, they are weak in all key areas. It's a shame as I kind of like them but even if Newcastle lose most of their games it means nothing if Fulham don't pick up points. Stranger things have happened but it's very unlikely.

They're just not quite good enough, are they? I thought they were, but they're not. I have a bit of a soft spot for them, don't know why. I think Newcastle will now cling on by their fingertips to their PL status (without actually bringing anything interesting to the PL). But you never know. We, of all people, should be aware of astonishing turnarounds (mainly to our disadvantage) on final days.
Meanwhile, Norwich and Watford to come straight back up? And then go straight back down again? There's a group of clubs that are just too good for the Championship, but not good enough for the Premier League.

Think Norwich will stay up this time, they look a great deal more balanced when I've seen them. There's always been yo-yo clubs though, WBA have been doing it for a decade and more, Burnley were at it until recently.

Both Newcastle and Fulham have a bastard of a run in to finish the season, imo.

A Brighton win tonight and I reckon the Fulham v Newcastle , last match of the season, will be all or nothing

My barcode supporting nephew is not happy.
Hates Bruce and pretty worried they are going down.

Still he hates Liverpool as much as anyone on this forum so all's not bad.
