Relegation Fight - 2021/22 | Norwich, Watford & Burnley relegated

You said they weren’t in a relegation fight. They are/were. It’s all there in black & white. No pun intended..

I said they wouldn't be near the relegation scrap at the end of the season. They're 14th with 11 games left and going one way.

In fact here's what you took exception to

...They're 2 points off safety.

If they make the Digne, Botman and Trippier signings and bring in an attacker to cover their injury losses, it won't even be close, they'll finish well clear.

Any reason you’re avoiding your original post?

Since then.

Brentford P10 W2 D1 L7, GS: 7, GC: 16, GD: -9, Pts: 7/30.
Everton P8 W1 D0 L7, GS: 7, GC: 17, GD: -10, Pts: 3/24.
Leeds P10 W2 D1 L7, GS: 11, GC: 28, GD: -17, Pts: 7/30.
Burnley P9 W1 D3 L5, GS: 7, GC: 15, GD: -8, Pts: 6/27.
Watford P10 W1 D2 L7, GS: 5, GC: 19, GD: -14, Pts: 5/30.
Newcastle P9 W6 D3 L0, GS: 14, GC: 6, GD: +8, Pts: 21/27.
Norwich P9 W2 D1 L6, GS: 8, GC: 22, GD: -14, Pts: 7/27.

The Geordies have done an extraordinary job from top to bottom.

Just watched the goals from the Wolves/Watford game. Watford were abysmal and Ben Foster is not good enough for non-league let alone the Prem. If you haven't had a chance to see the goals have a quick look now, catastrophic.

He was at fault for one goal. He’s always been upfront that having the ball at his feet isn’t his strong point.

He’s actually a very good goalkeeper and has been for a number of years. Quite a solid keeper, good technique and good handling.

If only Norwich or Watford could get a few wins together just to drop them Leeds bastards down :) you don’t hear a peep out of the bastards now

Newcastle are doing what Leicester did in 2015 - hitting CL form to get them out of the mire. Sure, they haven't left it as late as Leicester did, but if they can keep this form going into next aeason we all remember what happened in 2016. Newcastle won't be 5000/1 to win the title next year, that's a pipe dream. But they should be serious contenders for top4.

Your figures can't be correct. I just checked Burnley for example recently went on a good run of 7 points in three matches against Brighton, Spurs and Palace.

Leeds have got Norwich at home this weekend. If they can't even win that then I think they're going down.
