Relocating Season Ticket - We've regressed - Whats going on?!

I went down to the ground first thing and was seen straight away. Explained the situation that we wanted 2 cheaper seats together than what we already have. There was nothing available really except for the first 5 or so rows in the South Stand. Could have done with the saving but what can you do?

For me there should be a 2 week window where you can relocate and be able to do it online seeing what seats are free. Then there isn't such a mad rush in just 2 days.

See you next year 109

Iv been busy with work so couldn't sort the relocation. Becuase of the mess they have made are they extending the window to change as this would let me relocate?

I know this is a long shot but thought it would be worth a try after the palaver of the last couple of days. Anyone looking to swap 2 tickets on level 1 for level 3? We are in 327 but looking to relocate as my dad had a heart attack and will struggle to make it to our current seats. Ideally we want end of row as far back as possible. PM me if you are interested in swapping or want more info on our seats.

Same as @cheddar404

Contact the disabled tickets line. They were excellent for me and my dad.

See if the club will let your dad have a lift pass to get up to Level 3.

Do any web developers know how easy it is for City to implement an online relocation system? I just want to ensure our demands aren't deemed unreasonable!
If you pay enough money it's easy. If you don't pay enough it's hard.

The issue may be more around not wanting too many fans moving around the stadium because each change will require a recalculation and resetting of direct debits etc. and that is more man power and cost. Another issue could be they want to keep open a good batch of cheap seats to encourage new season ticket holders who won't pay £500+, by making it difficult for existing fans to downgrade into them.

Last year was a lot simpler because there was the new stand, but it was obvious what happened - existing fans took up most of the new seats at lower prices, leaving harder-to-sell seats behind.

That's why you have a functioning computer system to handle this kind of crap. It's not even hard - the DDs haven't yet started for next season, so just need to set the new amount for the new seat.

The DDs have been set up on my account already (and there's a record of £2175 for the 16/17 FA Cup scheme for some reason, I assume this is not coming out of my account). However it is probably more to do with the second point you didn't quote, regarding keeping open some cheap seats.

Or it could be the club are just crap at this!

Carrier Pigeon probably!

You can still re locate today and i just did it in about 15 mins via the phone. Not huge availability now but i managed to relocate is SS1 from 116 to 115 and a few rows further back.

I wasn't talking about the weekend gone in particular. Even this weekend would have been better. The start of the season is a long way off, so there is plenty of time for the season tickets to go on open sale if there are any free.

As others have said, its because they genuinely aren't arsed if people relocate or not. It doesn't benefit them, in terms of more money which is what they are after. They are not bothered about customer goodwill (unless there is an immediate money making opportunity).

Relocation is an inconvenience to them, not a value-adding activity, so these 2 days were simply a token gesture from the club. Sad isn't it.
