remaining games and points

Winning at Ewood Park certainly won't be easy , only four premiership sides have conceded less goals at home than Blackburn , and they're fighting for their lives ........ but we can do it .... it's them or us at this stage of the season , and even though Blackburn have a tendency to draw a lot of games the odd goal could see us through.

If we beat Blackburn and West Ham, and Spurs fail to beat Chelsea I think we are all but there. Can't see them turning a 7 point gap in 4 games, even if they were to beat us.

Said on another thread on here that I think we'll get 11 more points. Wins against WHU, Stoke and at Blackburn; draws at home to Spurs and at Bolton and defeat at Everton. That would give us 67 points which should be enough, unless Spurs go on a closing run similar to last season.

That seems reasonable from us.

Everton are indeed our bogey team but I hate how everyone is conceding full points against them. They are dire, the recent results against a lot of relegation fodder on the trot hiding it. We should beat them.

They are top 4 on form in last 12 matches

yes but the best team they've beaten in that span is Tottenham in very early January. Chelsea if you count penalties and FA Cup.

Respect to them, they've actually won the games, but those last 12 league matches have been
United (loss),
Blackburn,
Wolves (wins),
Villa (draw),
Fulham (win),
Brum (draw),
Newcastle,
Sunderland (wins),
Bolton (loss),
Blackpool (win),
Arsenal (loss),
West Ham (draw)

aside from the United and Arsenal matches, which they lost, that list is a who's who of shit and mediocrity. They don't scare me.

Yep , they've only lost three of the last 12 league games .... and were unlucky at Old Trafford today ...... they'll give it their all against us !

I'm certain we'll get beat at Everton. They always do us without fail.

I know how you feel mate, but honestly, that's just "old City" thinking.

The fact is, at Everton, they beat us last time. And we beat them the time before that. 1 a piece in the last 2 visits.

Keep the faith!
Hope we beat them mate, but I won't be able to relax until we are mathematically out of Spurs' reach :P
