I actually think this rests purely with city,they will have known the BBC would show it,so why not wait till the ref blew the whistle at the Sutton ,arsenal game .and start selling tickets today and not yesterday ?Doesn't affect me, but it's indicative of football hw the fans are shit on again. Plenty made arrangements only for City to bend over and let the BBC shaft us.
I'm guessing that if the rags ,Blackburn would have needed a replay that would have been the Wednesday TV game.wasn't the replay date announced on Saturday ?The chances of Sutton getting a draw was much less than 50% so at the very least the game should have originally been penciled in for Wednesday with a chance of reverting to Tuesday not the other way round.
