Reports of an explosion at Parsons Green underground station

He didn't say it was "acceptable". He said they were doing their job, which they are. Morally, it stinks. But that's a different argument.
Why does it stink? A witness has tweeted his experience and journalists are understandably interested. What's wrong with that.

Is this a Clarkie how many people keep how many home improvement materials have electric wires coming out of the tub.

Not a clarkie, I couldn't make out the wires at first as the dark straggly ones that are sticking out the tub can be other than wires. But I realised on the floor to the left of it what seems to be grey wires with red tips (red electric tapes?) so it does look conspicuous.

That's what it really boils down to. Broadcasting it on social media is a publicity cry, I guess most might be inclined to do the same if they have been in that situation though.

As a counterpoint, when the 7/7 London bombings happened, I was caught up with one. Mobile networks were turned off, and the office was evacuated. A circle of friends chased down anyone by social media they knew in the area, but it was several hours before I could contact anyone.

So social media use is valid in some circumstances, and not necessarily the person thinking of it as a publicity cry.

You need to look in the mirror.

Bollox. There is 1 reply from a journo that is acceptable. The rest are mearly self centred.

There are ways to handle yourself in a professional manner and that was the only member of the media to do so

There was at least one other that in their request wished him well, in any case I don't see how you view the others as being particularly rude, either way I guess we'll probably disagree on this, and in the scheme of things its a trifling matter really.

The usual COBRA meeting called by the PM. I was so disappointed when I found out it just stands for cabinet office briefing room A, thought it was something much more elaborate.
