Read elsewhere that its Benitez. At war with the owners over the £1.5m budget they gave him for new players. Wouldn't blame him.

While I highly doubt it, I think that's the best thing for them all around. He's shite at building a proper squad and Liverpool need a real clearout if they're going to do anything over the next few years.

Would it not simply be the Portsmouth takeover is now being finalised and Hart has either realised / or been told that someone else is coming in?

i agree, could be moyes, if he knows lescott is gonna be sold then he has been overun at everton despite what he has said and made to look like an absolute idiot so he may feel he needs to move

They announced this at 4pm as hawksby and Jacobs were starting there show. Saying they have had calls and texts from a source and that the club involved has had been in the public eye alot the past week.
