Do you think that Mark Hughes is the right man to bring trophies to the City of Manchester Stadium?
I dont see why not. He has a solid foundation to work from and with the backing over the owners money it would be hard to say no. The only thing that worries me still are his tactical substitutions when we are winning a game, but, against Chelsea he did what i have been harping on about for weeks by bringing off Tevez and replacing him for Kompany. I'd prefer us to hold on to what we have if we're leading in a game rather than continue gung ho like we did against Burnley, Hull etc.
Which Sunderland players do you see as a threat to you on Saturday?
I think Darren Bent is in great form and Steve Bruce looks to be getting the best out of the striker like Alan Curbishley did. Andy Ried and Lee Cattermole are worth a mention too. Ried on his day can destroy any team, but those days dont come often enough for Sunderland. Cattermole i like alot, an aggresive midfielder who doesn't stop all game, and honestly i think he has been one of the bargain buys in the Prem this season.
If 'Sparky' was to go, who would you want as his replacement?
Jose Mourinho. The man is all about winning. Doesn't matter how he does it, he wins. Also he's great for comedy value too.
If you could have any Sunderland player on your team, who would it be and why?
I dont think there is a first teamer with Sunderland that would walk into City's side. I dont mean to sound disrespectful when i say that. I'd probably look more to the future with Jordan Henderson. I think if the younster is given the right guidance he could prove to be a very good player for years to come.
Where do you think you'll finish this season, realistically?
Since the start of the season i have always said top 6, dont get me wrong, City can finish top 4 if they are lucky with injuries, but with the African Nations coming up and losing Kolo and Ade i think that will be the defining moment of our season. But top 6 and i'll be happy.
Which new signing has impressed you the most?
The 2 main signings that has impressed me most, and i know this might not sit well with Sunderland fans, but former Newcastle forward Bellamy has made me eat my words. I honestly thought the guy was a waste of space but has proven me wrong and shoved my critiscm back down my throat. His attitude is superb, as is the other player i will name. Nigel De Jong. We are now starting to see the best of "The Beast" and with youth still on his side, i honestly think Big Nige can become the best holding midfielder in the world today.
What are your thoughts on Steve Bruce and the job he’s done with Sunderland?
Money always helps, as we at City have found out. Bruce has always been a capable manager, but it is going to be interesting to see how long he stays at Sunderland for. Does he get bored at one club after a while? His history would suggest so, but with the backing of the Sunderland board and injections of cash, i think Bruce will be alot happier with the Mackems than his past positions. I think Bruce will do well with Sunderland and maybe next season have them knocking on the door for a top 6 finish.
Do you think your team will be better than your bitter rivals Manchester United in a few years time?
I certainly hope so. For too long have City fans had to endure abuse from the south coast, London and even Singapore. I think with United's debt getting out of control and more recently the Adem Ljajic scenario, just proves what is going on at OT and that all is not well. As from the weekend, City showed they are ready to mix it with the big boys, they just need to find the mentality all the big clubs have. Once they find that mentality and improve some positions within the team i think its safe to say that City will become Greater Manchester's bigger club.
What do you think the outcome will be of the game on Saturday?
Against Sunderland? I have noticed Sunderland's away form is what seems to be hampering them in the Prem this season, but a win at Bolton last week will boost the players confidence. Hopefully City will have enough class to win though. I'd be happy with a boring 1-0 win for City, but i'll go 3-1. As long as City ake all 3 points, im not really bothered about the score.
Has any signing disappointed you?
Roque Santa Claus. Sorry, Cruz. We'd have been better off signing Santa Claus. I even went as far as saying if we signed this muppet for £20m i wouldn't go back to City. Of course i still go, but i prefer going when this eejit isn't anywhere but in the stands.
What do you make of Stephen Irelands continued absence from the Republic Of Ireland national team?
When a player is bullied by nasty little vermon and continually spoken about in a negative manner by the same little vermon that is Stephen Hunt, i believe Ireland is well within his right to decide who he wants to play for. While i dont agree, bullying is something that happens at school, not at football. Im glad Stevie has retired from International football, it should mean his career will last that little longer and City will get the best of him for years to come.
Who do you think Manchester City should buy in January?
I agree with Hughes' strategy on this one. His words "If a player becomes available, that will improve a position, we will be in for that player"
How does it feel to be up there with the richest clubs in the world?
To be up there? Our owner is worth an estimated £600B. I believe that will make us the richest club in the world. I have to say though that all this wealth has come at a price. People have started seeing City, and City fans in a negative manner since the takeover. Media have called us arrogant - I call it ambition. I loved the days when we were garbage, but im also looking forward to the glory days which are hopefully not to long away.
Emmanuel Adebayor, signed in the summer from Arsenal, how do you rate his performances so far?
I know there has been some critiscm from City fans regarding his performance's, but not from me. I think the City fans that are criticising are being harsh and unfair. He leads the line very well and drags defenders all over the pitch creating space for our midfield to flood the gaps left.
If you could have any of the Sunderland squad, who would it be and why?
Already answered above - Jordan Henderson
What is your prediction for the upcoming fixture?
3-1, as above
Where do you think both Sunderland and Man City finish this season?
I think Sunderland will finish top 10, maybe even higher if they can sort out their away record. City, top 6 is fine with me.
