Reserves at Northwich- any good pubs?

I'm going to have a look at the reserves at Northwich on the 18th. Anyone live that way who can recommend any pubs? I'll be on train so somewhere between the station and ground would be good (about 1.5 miles i think it is). Also, anyone know prices for the match?

I worked close to the ground a few years ago and its in the middle of an industrial park so get a pint near the centre.

Going on the piss in Sheffield the night before(lived there 10 years)so dont think I will make it!

You do realise that the match is the 12th August at 7pm

The only pub I can think of that's on the way is past Tesco on the roundabout

Get off the train at Lostock pal, it's a 20-25min walk to the ground with a couple of boozers 'slow & easy' and 'the black greyhound' on the way up to the ground..

What is a good pub? I say save your money and spare the alcohol industry a tenner that day.

The "Slow and Easy" might well be shut down by then. It's the pub nearest me and it's a dump. I've heard it's closing first week in August. The Salt Barge is a nice pub, in Marston, about a 15 minute walk from the ground:
