Response to Bayern Munich fans banners for next week

The banners were just bizarre. Why a bunch of deluded German rags would be arsed about putting together a banner calling the Glazers autocrats or commenting on the ownership of English clubs at all is very strange. Have they ever considered supporting their own team without three nobheads at the front telling them how to do it, rather than concerning themselves with our ownership.

Because there's nothing in their psyche or their history, voting history or shows of support, to make such leaps.
In the meantime we're chastised and apologise for everything much further back in time.
I actually agree with you in that it is somewhat tasteless and obvious, but can understand it.
 
Football clubs don't belong to paying match-going fans, outside investment is needed by everybody,

it just happens that our owners are the best in the world of the football
 
No need for a banner. Just beat them on the pitch. The whole thing makes them look small-time anyway. If they think they are being clever, let them.

We make a witty banner in reply and they won't get it anyway. If anything, the club will get in trouble for it.

It does just feel hollow though. I had the same feeling when we were getting beat by Newcastle last week, they are technically competing with us but it feels totally artificial. When you pump enough money into a project then the success that follows is inevitable, kinda sucks the fun out of the game.

I watched City beat Bayern and felt nothing. I was just thinking about how much better it would be if all of City's top players were spread around other top European teams like they should be and how much better the competition would be. City, PSG and Chelsea are really killing the game. I honestly wouldn't even feel that excited if United made the final of the CL next season and ended up facing one of those clubs.

City might win the treble, but it'll never match United's with 7 homegrown lads in the squad, beating Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle en route to the FA Cup and winning the league on the last day at a time when it was genuinely competitive from top to bottom. It's just sad that nothing like that will happen again. Football has gone from the working man's game to a plaything for the super rich and a cash cow for a few opportunistic leeches. Just read this on red cafe unbelievable.

1. It was that competitive that in the first 10 years the RTs won it 7 times and came RU 3 times - not my idea of Competitive.
2. The RTs have spent more than us over the last 10 years and won next to fuck all we on the other hand have won loads - so when you pump money in it does not guarantee success.
In summary shut the fuck up unless you have something worthwhile to say.
