Any recommendations for a good priced restaurant in the city centre?

Out with the Mrs saturday night and don't often get out in the centre of town, usually just stay local.

Nothing we don't like so any recommendations would be useful. But as i say we don't wont anything to expensive/posh!

Cheers

My favouries are The Ashoka, Portland St. for curry and The Yang Sing, opposite Taylor Made bookies in Chinatown for Chinese obviously.

There are that many and you don't state what kind of food you like, if it's Steak and Chips there's non better than http://www.relaisdevenise.com/manchester/index.htm for £21. A quick tip, don't go to Jamie Oliver's, very poor.

Both good, I like the Hong Kong as well
And you forgot that Chinese Buffet on Portland St that you can't get enough of...
A hidden gem
