Return of Supporters

From the 105th time the trains do not fit any of the Wembley platforms so they cannot stop.
Sorry I think I miseed your first 104 posts, must check next time. They used to be able to stop there so can't imagine they have shortened the platforms. Would be easy enough to organise. I've been on plenty of trains where they announce the platform is short and you can only exit from Carriage A, B, C etc. That would be better than getting 750 Blues from Euston to Wembley.

Saw this post from Vic the other day

Is this not our train ? On the Real Time train app? Is there a service one at the same time ?

As I mentioned to someone the other day, real time trains is currently incorrect as Network Rail haven't offered the revised schedules yet (i.e. their planners are still validating the schedules around other operators' services).

Man City are an inconvenience for this game and I'm fairly sure City would prefer not to be in this position. All of this is about the 25% attendance at the Euros in June, when mass travel from one city to another will not be a factor. I can't see what will be learnt from this so called research and it's shameful that fan groups haven't been involved.

The Covid secure train bollix is blown out of the water by piling everyone onto the tube, which incidentally handles 10 times this crowd per hour even during the pandemic. And the biggest kick in the nuts is being charged, again not City's doing but surely the club could have subsidised the transport at least?

What’s wrong with Wembley stadium station ? To be honest if l do get a ticket it’s 7 mins from there back to Marylebone and brisk 15 min walk to Euston
Yes that’s the way l have used on all of my last numerous visits, plus there will be far less queues at Wembley Stadium station too

Replying to individuals is different from publishing it so fans know where they stand, and the ERP doc the city site links to doesn't mention refunds. Why not have 2,000 fans all contact supporter services for the same info?
Hey I don’t work for supporter services. Just trying to help and reassure people who were concerned and thinking of going that they wouldn’t get money back if they test positive that they will.

Not being an apologist for the club or Supporter Services or anything but I am sure they are doing their best and are probably tearing their hair out trying to do what is right for our supporters. We are the ones who have to travel and therefore it will have been a nightmare getting the numbers right. i.e. Those who want to travel under their own steam (well ok by car not steam train!!) those who want to go by coach because maybe they don't like trains, those who want to go by train. The train one is the nightmare one really because the powers that be who built/build station platforms didn't take into account that they might need longer ones!! That is in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM, Manchester City's fault.
As for the tests, again they are following Government guidelines/orders.

City are going with what they can and doing the best they can. Sorry. If this is considered a rant then rant over.

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE WHO IS GOING. STAY SAFE, TAKE CARE. If you are allowed to shout/cheer then cheer/shout twice as loudly for those of us who are not going. Thank you.

:-)

I just spoke to Supporter Services and they said they are still in talks as to whether there will be transport laid on from Euston to Wembley or if fans left to make own way. I wouldn't count on anything being agreed but just letting you know what they told me.
