Return of Supporters

Feel for you but the heart and soul of Manchester City Football Club isn’t the pricks who sort out the administration.
I know, mate. Only kidding.

There's more pissed off people than not, but I'm really not throwing my toys out of the pram over it. It's the way it goes.

The odds were against it.

Good on all who've got tickets, however many points they've got. They'll all be Blues.

Here's hoping to be at a full-house in August...

We rewarded the people who rarely, if ever, miss a game, home or away. I'd say that was rewarding loyalty.

After that, the majority were always going to miss out. Life isn't fair sometimes unfortunately.
Said it before you shouldn’t be in a situation where some people are perceived to be more loyal than others. I’ve had a season card since 1973 and for last 10 years have paid for my two kids to have a card so three in total. Have 20k but apparently my loyalty is good enough to even receive an email but I did receive one at 6.00 to thank me for my support last year at newcastle last season. And no doubt I will receive plenty over the weekend about various other things. Loyalty is a two way thing and if all these stories of people who barely attend games receiving tickets are true then explanations should be forthcoming. Whole situation has been handled appallingly.

No email. I’d have probably got one on points but don’t have too many complaints about it being a ballot - whichever way you do it some will think it’s unfair and with only 10k tickets loads are going to be left disappointed. The bit that really does piss me off is not even a word to say you’ve been unsuccessful, so unfair to just leave people in the dark, complete lack of awareness from the club as usual when it comes to this sort of thing.

I'm not doubting you, I'm just confused as to why anyone is paying the £40 or however much it costs Citizens membership every year if they're not going to games. The laptop bag you could get for a fiver?!
Gets it in case he fancies United or Liverpool game, or big champions league game. £40 is cheaper than forking out a fortune to a tout

Did you get one?

I don't think anyone would have begrudged someone getting tickets ahead of them for this game based on loyalty points since that happens for all away games and is the whole point of a loyalty point system existing for years.

The stories on here of non cityzens who have only been to a handful of games getting tickets ahead of lifelong home seasoncard holders is more than just unfair.

I don’t have a problem missing out in the ballot , with 17000 points I’d most probably have missed out on points as well , but there really is no excuse for the club not informing everyone one way or the other. Some have emails saying they have tickets others they are in the reserve pot , the rest of us nothing !

Yes it's a ballot so no problem not getting a ticket , but not to even bother sending me an email is beyond contempt . Piss poor by the club yet again
People are behaving like spoiled kids. I've been to loads of interviews where I've had no feedback and they've maybe interviewed 5 or 6 people only. Or have applied for jobs that maybe 200 others applied for and had no feedback.

I think it's piss poor when you've been for an interview but I'm not going to get worked up about not getting feedback from an application. I just accept it and get on with life. We're talking about maybe 50-60k here so I understand why the club can't contact all those who haven't been successful.

And i've not had an email, so I'm neither getting a ticket nor on the reserve list. So all those who accused me and City Matters of looking after ourselves had it wrong. Had it been done on points then probably the majority of us with seasoncards would have got tickets. As it turns out, it seems only one has. So if we fiddled it to suit ourselves, we did a piss poor job.
