Hi Guys, Leicester fan here, congratulations on the victory yesterday! I am hopeful to be travelling down to the FA Cup Final in a few weeks.

For you guys lucky enough to get a ticket, how was the new 'COVID' matchday experience?

How was the process of actually getting in? Where stewards pretty hot on checking COVID tests matching the names on the tickets etc?
Hi, if your club run it as smoothly as City it will be no problem. Check where you can get a lateral flow test done the day before, make sure you have photo Id, and your phone to show the stewards the negative lateral flow. Your own stewards and Wembley stewards WILL be checking names v tickets. Great at Wembley just be aware that they are charging £6 (that's half a days wages in Manc!) for a can of Bud or magners.

That is fucking disgusting, I'd rather not drink than pay those con merchants that price.

So good to get back, for all those who say they wont go back think again, after yesterday experience I cant wait for the next live event, I had forgotten how much better it is to be at a live game then sat at home watching on the TV, once you go back its only then you realise what we have all been missing, believe me there will be many more going back to games than what is being suggested in some circles, what a great day lets all get back to live football.

Same here. You cannot beat being there. Still buzzin after yesterday. Getting into the ground was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Definitely be trying to get tickets for the Everton game.

Advise your fellow fans not to make the schoolboy error I did by leaving the Lateral Flow Test Centre area before you get your results.

I got mine but then left as expected my lads to come through soon after and at 8pm Sat and then again Sun am we were then trying to find out where his results were using 119. We never got them so couldnt get on the coach.

Think your final is a Saturday where with ours being Sunday there was nowhere open for another test.

Its one thing I will feedback when asked, contingency plan for the what if it goes wrong.Timescales very tight.

Still not had the results now which is worrying.

We went down by coach, well organized at City and Wembley, the process at the ground was great and worked very well, got in with no problems at all. They do check your results and photo ID so you won't get in without it. Mask wearing was enforced to a degree but it was done in a sensible manner. I really enjoyed the day and would recommend going if you can get a ticket

The COVID tests were a pain to organise and were checked on entry to the stadium area. The lateral flow test text message doesn’t show the time of the test just the date, so how to prove it was within 24 hours not possible. Also photo id was checked for name matching and for my son his date of birth.
I personally don’t believe in masks. They serve no barrier to the virus, are uncomfortable to wear, look stupid, are unnatural covering the part of our body that breathes, eats and drinks and are a sign of submission to illogical rules laid down by authority. Anyway, I spoke to a few stewards and got a mask exemption yellow lanyard. Everyone around me was constantly being told to wear masks, but there is another way..
