My eldest daughter works for Bentley Motors, and is the racing team coordinator in the GT3 series events throughout Europe, mainly in the Blancpain and ADAC meetings. There have been some spectacular crashes at these races over the season, all by the professional drivers, fortunately with no fatalities. Most of the cars fall into the "supercar" classification, such as Bentley Continental GT3, Ferrari 458, Audi R8, Mercedes SLS AMG, Lamborghini,etc, and she's had the pleasure of driving several of them and now has an "A"licence to drive them competitively. Those events could be the basis for a new "Wacky Races" series.
Proud of her - you bet. Jealous - goes without saying.
She drives a Merc E350 CDI, as well a lots of the above cars, as she runs a car store in her spare time, but isn't a chav by any means. Just a good driver - I obviously taught her well!
