Shame for dunny i reckon he was quality for us and was a bit harshly treated by the club. He still would be a decent squad player for us and I think the focus that bobby puts on keeping tight in the defensive centre would have really brought out the best in him. He wasn't fast enough or fit enough or professional enough in bobby's view, and this just shows he was right. But its a shame
Another McGrath.

Mancini wasn't even here when Dunne left, Hughes got rid.

I don't think Dunne would be a decent squad player for anyone. I think he needs to play regularly otherwise he'll drop clangers all over the show, and he's prone enough to error even at his best. I doubt Mancini would have been much of a fan of such a calamitous defender. Mancini's constantly going on about concentration and Dunney has dreadful concentration levels. Also, Dunney is uncomfortable on the ball and seems to take delight in booting it to the opposition team regularly, something that Mancini would not have been keen on in the slightest.

I'm not surprised to see Dunney on the psis again at Villa. He was built up to be something he wasn't by most City fans

Would make a great roll model for all the youg kid's at Carrington
if he was still here.
Take em all out on the piss after training.
