I am sick and tired of hearing about what a revelation Richard Dunne is supposed to be for Villa so far. I honestly don't know what to think about it but should we have kept him? I know he was in a poor run of form but he was very public about his willingness to fight for his place at City and we fired him off anyway. Mistake?

if he stayed at city he would still be in crap form!
at Villa, he is in a well organised and solid back 4.

Player of the year 4 times and was more than happy at city, Hughes biggest mistake in his time at city IMO. Dunne is and will always be better than Toure and just needed a new partner . Lescott could have been that man ( I know he is injured )

I backed hughes on this, Dunne's poor form and high profile mistakes, led me to think if we needed a new captain we might be better off if the old one left... but when he said he was happy to stay and fight, I thought, why not? anyway, I was wrong, I think, we've thrown out the baby with the bathwater, again.

I'm sick to death of not being in the top four, as well, but some things have to be confronted, even when denial is the easier path.
