Richards and Clichy

Love Clichy, top lad with a great attitude , world class left footed full back, very solid defending plays simple but very effective going forward with amazing pace he puts his heart out in every game, i like Kola but sometimes i think he's careless full of it, don't think Kola is that great at attacking he's crosses mostly off target either smocking or careless finish last touch, for me Clichy- Richards

Clichy and Richards are the first-choice pairing and definetly the best in the league IMO.

But we have a good back-up full-backs and it seems like Mancini has found a way to keep all 4 happy with the rotation.

Impressed with Kolarov recently and he brings something different to Clichy, he is tall and stronger and got that fantastic left-foot. Really pleased to have him...

And in his latest interview he doesn't seem to mind that there are 2 good players in every position. And accepts the rotation and his attitude is great.

Hope they all 4 stay for years.

I don't look at it as a pair of fullbacks, more a foursome, the way we play now the fullbacks do more work than any other players, so change more or less every game, i don't worry about who plays fullback these days cos they're all great, not allways been like that!lol

Clichy can't cross or shoot but is technically quite good and his explosive pace is an asset. Richards has been an abslute powerhouse of late, winning headers he has no right to even challenge for, powering forward and showing the odd bits of class and skill here and there. His game is really coming on. Neither can whip a decent cross in for a header though

Comparing them to Cafu and Carlos? Behave! Cafe and Carlos were phenomenal full backs, Cafu one of my favourite players ever and a real class act. Carlos was like a stronger, tougher Clichy with more of an end product, Cafu was just the all round full package for me. Up and down all day. Lovely footballer, pure class.

Clichy was realy an amazing Deal, but in 1 2 Years you will cii that Savic was the best buy.

It's a great situation. Full back has been a problem for my whole City life but not anymore. We have the best 4 full backs in the world imo (as a group, not individuals).

Wouldn't swap Richards for any full back in the world. Immense.

Can't really think of a better left back than Clichy either to be honest. Defensively good anf great going forward.

Richards has come on an absolute bomb though. I think he's on the verge of becoming a world class right back. He's frightening.
