I very much doubt this shit goes on as much at other clubs as it does as City. Micah's handled it well, but I'm not convinced that the team spirit is what it should be. To my mind, Balotelli is the problem and the sooner we get rid, the better.

As much entertainment he provides to some through the tabloids, what with all these bust-ups and throwing darts at other people, there's no way on earth that he can be good to play with.

There will be people who argue that his talent makes up for all that, but I think that's ridiculous. He's not one of the first names on the team-sheet and given the money we have, he can be easily replaced (if you do think he's any good). And the age/background argument won't wash either. We want to reach the top now, not when he's matured.

I appreciate the guy has got talent and some fans like him for some of the "funny" things he does off the pitch but for me he has a permanent self destruction button and you have to question how far is he off actually chinning someone??.

His ability is not what's in question here.

(I think he has some world class attributes and some attributes that you find at schoolboy level, altogether making him ordinary for this level, as someone mentioned above. A lot of what I've written about him as a player is backed up by people paid to analyse football (top pundits, the best manager in the world and others) but doesn't seem to be popular on here which, as you can imagine, isn't a big concern for me. All that's on the Welbeck thread, though).

As for this thread, a quick question for anyone polite enough to answer: how many more fights would Balotelli have to have before you'd be convinced he was bad for our team spirit?

If that's how you feel fair anough i just think this is ham bags petty stuff it May show passion or Mario being stupid he is still 21 but agree he should grow up but this season he keeps scoring i hope he stays for a long time and he does stupid stuff but Mario being Mario and our Shit liein press it doesn't help at all
