Maybe Milner for Gerrard, if he's not fit.

i agree with this line-up, and the milner comment, he'd only get to play if gerrad or wilshere weren't fit.
Though we'll see what form the ox is in at the end of the season, if its just hype then prob young & call me crazy but when i watch glen johnson play at left back for pool he looks sound defensively, cole is finally starting to show his age this season.

If i had to pick a team today my starting 11 would be -

Hart
Richards-Dawson-Lescott-Cole
Milner-Parker-Barry
Sturridge-Rooney-OxladeChamberlian

Hart
Richards-Jagielka-Lescott-Baines
Gerrard-Parker-Milner
Sturridge-Rooney-Young

When Rooneys available i'd select this team, possibly Wilshere for Milner if he makes the Euro's. Jagielka and Lescott were great for everton and proved to be a good partnership against Spain. Cole has been pretty awful this season and i think its about time we picked players on form rather than past credentials.

So many average permutations, none better than any of the others

The likely pool, as we're carrying Rooney for 1st two rounds

Hart Foster Stockdale Carson

Walker Jagielka Lescott Baines Cahill Terry or Ferdinand A Cole Duncan (Edwood} Jones Smalling Richards Johnson

Parker Barry Wilshire Gerrard Cleverley A Johnson J Cole (Lille) Lampard Young Carrick Scholes Beckham? (Scary but possible)
and Walcott

Oxlade Chamberlain

Welbeck Sturridge Crouch Defoe Bent (Ha Ha) Carroll Zamora AND ROONEY

Let assume Redknapp is picked as Manager?

It is unlikely Terry and Ferdinand will both go, but he knows what Ferdinand can do on his day

Neither will Lampard and Gerrard, but Lampard IS family

He would be lkely to go with Lennon over Walcott or Oxlade Chamberlain

Would love to take the praise for DISCOVERING a successful Oxlade Chamberlain

So Walcott DROPPED again

J Cole is playing out of his skin in France

He REALLY rates Bent and Zamora and Defoe is no longer a 1st pick for Tottenham

He WILL have to start with Welbeck or Sturridge. Carroll is no more tha an outside possibilty

So a possible team of

Hart

Walker Spurs
Dawson Spurs
Ferdinand ex West Ham
Johnson Ex West Ham

Carrick ex West Ham
Parker Tottenham

Lennon Tottenham
Lampard Ex West Ham
J Cole ex West Ham

Crouch certainly off the Bench if Welbeck fails to shine

Then its the FUTURE as back up

Foster to return with promise of Rotation after Finals
A an Other Good Lad

Duncan Jones
Smalling
Richards over Cahill and Racist

Barry
Milner

Oxlade Chamberlain ahead of Walcott
A Young OR afit Wilshire

Welbeck

Rooney
