Also The rag brigade have come in force to attack Micah/Joleon on twitter. Lets get some bluemooners to sort it out

Our own fans have a go at Savic who are even dumber. You get behind your fellow blue player no matter what, unless they are complete tossers, but those who turn their back on them due to performance are shallow. Mancini and Platt are probably the 2 of the most intelligent folks in football management today and they have many reasons to think Savic is quality to bring in to MCFC and play him in Vinny's shoes for a while.

Personally, people have got spoilt with Vinny's class of play and expect on par performance. NOT HAPPENING. Back your player no matter! Savic will needs confidence and playing time to perfect his movement, intelligence and polish his skill just like Vinny and I GUARANTEE he will be fighting on par with the world-class players for a position as a defender.

as for the rags on Twitter, on it lad!!

Well in, Richards. I hope this helps some of the City fans on here see some sense. I don't frequent the giant toilet wall that is Twitter, but good luck to all the Blue Twits in the cyber skirmish.

I don't understand Twitter.

It seems to be a place solely for members of the public to 'attack' celebrities.

A load of ill educated, moronic 13 year olds from Suffolk racially abusing footballers.

Love Richards Twitter photo.

he should defend team mates all the time ....even though we as fans are 2faced

Well Savic can't defend himself ;) nah Micah is spot on, it seems people forget how old Savic is and how I don't think Bobby would have intended for him to be such a key part in his first season here. He's obviously got potential, let's hope he fulfils it.

For Savic to come in and be asked to cover Vinnie at a crucial part of the season shows the faith our great manager as in him, no doubt this kid has talent, i hope we can send him out on loan to a struggling prem team for a season or 2, less pressure on him, once he returns im sure he can be apart of our ever improving squad for years to come.

-- Thu Jan 26, 2012 7:13 pm --

For Savic to come in and be asked to cover Vinnie at a crucial part of the season shows the faith our great manager as in him, no doubt this kid has talent, i hope we can send him out on loan to a struggling prem team for a season or 2, less pressure on him, once he returns im sure he can be apart of our ever improving squad for years to come.

This is getting tiresome. This is a forum designed for comment on a whole range of issues including player performance. Stating that Savic is not ready for this level of football (as amply demonstrated by 3 or 4 shockingly poor showings) is not "having a go at the lad" or "abusing him", it's simple statement of fact. The long and the short of it is he's been piss poor. Doesn't mean we hate him, doesn't mean we're gonna boo him on match days, doesn't mean we aren't rooting for him to improve, doesn't make people who air such views on here, rags. I for one hope he comes good and turns out to be a City star for years to come, but right now he's a million miles out of his depth.
