Richards, Zabaleta and Bridge under threat - Mail

I thought Bridge has been getting much this season, as for Zabaleta I would have thought he makes an ideal squad player(if not a week in week out starter). As for Richards, its not like we need the money, I would keep him and see how he gets on, given the chance to really learn his trade.

cant decide if this is a made up story or not, no quotes etc

I too thought Bridge was improving this season

Can't see this happening personally. If the manager were to ship out Zaba and Micah he would only have Nedum as an established right-back. Even bringing in Puyol would leave him without a specialist right-back. As for Abidal, from what I've seen of him he's no better then Bridge.

I think Bridge has been very good so far this season. I dont think its a coincidence that he looks much better now he has Bellamy playing in front of him who will track back. Last season he was hung out to dry by Robinho and Petrov.

That article is total bollocks. Really can't seem him getting rid of Bridge and Zabba, especially after the former only signed in January and has enjoyed a good start to the season.

Hard to say if Micah will be on his way though. Hughes might view him as a project player.

That article is completely without foundation - it's taken the fact that Hughes is going to make new signings to mean that these three players will be on their way.

The article is made up but is stating the absolute obvious, that the left and right back arent good enough and that Zabaleta is not a world class replacement for Micah 'I do a lot of work for charity' Richards, he's a free kick waiting to happen.

I'm not one for conspiriacy theories but to me it sounds like someone got wind of petrovs comments about being 'unsettled' and decided to unsettle our team further, you know most of the press wants us to fail miserably.
