Ricky Hatton RIP

Scummy ****, how to turn the whole boxing community against you, prick

Absolutely. There is no way you should show that much disrespect for anybody dying, never mind a fellow boxer. To do so to probably the most loved boxer in the country and beyond is going to backfire on him massively. Rightly so.

What a deplorable ****!!?Go on Connor,…please give him what he deserves!!If anyone didn’t feel like they had a dog in this fight,I’m sure that’s changed now….
Isn’t that that point of him acting a ****? Just ignoring the fight would be a much more effective way to deal with this bullshit

Quite possibly yeah, but it’s that distasteful, that I’d really like to see him get beaten up now tbh!It will be on the firestick,..so no pennies from me!

That fucking disgraceful disrespect goes far beyond plugging the fight for PPV mate. That was fuck all to do with hype and the usual bluster. That was all to do with being an absolute ****.

Those slagging off Jr need to understand the context here, he's not being disrespectful to Ricky he's being disrespectful to Eddie - a **** of a man (much like any other promoter) who Eubank has been at loggerheads with for years

There's no doubt Eddie laid a trap for him and kept labouring the point, but come on...read the fucking room. Fucking alienating the whole of the boxing community in 30 seconds of utter disrespect for an icon of British boxing, not yet laid to rest. Not a great career move. Dumb ****.

Thats a valid excuse before Hearn explains that he was going to speak about Hatton. Had he then shut up and allowed him to speak, fair enough. He could even had carried on with the petulance afterwards. The fact he heard that he wanted to mention Hatton not once but twice and still carried on goes beyond that and shows complete disrespect for Hatton.

Absolute ****, I hope that he gets much more publicity then he could ever had hoped for with that act of disrespect now and the entire world let's the prick know exactly what they think of him. That should not be allowed to be erased from anybodies memory.

It would be a fitting tribute to name the new north stand after him, a true blue and great human being.
Respectfully, i think the stand name has to be reserved for city employees, be that players/managers etc.

But on that theme, I think it would be a fantastic tribute to dedicate a suite in the new hotel to him, deck a room out in Hatton memorabilia. If there is a gym within the building, naming that after him too would be great.

What a ****

He has reverted to You Tuber/Jake Paul/Connor McGreggor tactics to bring heat on himself by being the villian to get publicity/money/more views!

There is a reason that Promoters wont touch him and his Dad only turned up in his corner out of respect for Nigel Benn!

Boxing taught Ricky (and thousand of other kids) discipline, how to be a man, and put them on the right track! Hatton becoming a world champion just proves that and acts as motivation to us all!

Eubank is desperate to be relevant and be liked, but never will be either!

It would be funny as fuck if Connor Benn refused to fight him!

Anyway, I'm sure Ricky would be pissing is sides at us all getting offended on his behalf!
Their last tear up was a fight of the year contender! A repeat of that would be a top tribute to him!

So sad and such a loss. He was a top fella, who even until as recently as last week was offering support to a young boxer who was being bullied at school.

He will be much missed.

I noticed Pep looked very emotional. I'm proud of the club for the remembrance ceremony for Ricky - total respect. Even the scum players applauded and that was really appreciated.

Bless you Ricky xx
'Scum players'? come on mate. They were United players representing their club for a Manchester hero.

Sunday was about every fan in the ground remembering Manchester finest! Its what we do in Manchester (that and win trebles)!
