Death very rarely affects me . Close family aside. Yet Ricky was one of our own. A huge person for Boxing and City. Sat having a beer to you Ricky feel stunned. Some great words from Blues on here. Let's do him proud today.

A Manchester icon. As well as being one of the best boxers of his generation, he was also a big Manchester City supporter, and he left no one in any doubt where his football allegiance lay.

RIP Ricky. Talked to him a few times at the match and he always had time for everyone and never seemed to get sick of people asking for photos.

So so sad one of our own saw him fight at the stadium what a night, seen him plenty if times at games, remember when he was sat near South stand and got spotted " come and have a go if you think your hard enough " he laughed his head off

What awful news about the hitman, I won't speculate but its well documented that he had mental health struggles. If anyone on here is feeling down and out, I and i'm sure many others are willing to listen and lend a hand.
