Drove through Hyde tonight to drop my daughter home after work and there's loads of blue bunting, city flags, Ricky Hatton flags and city scarfs out along the way. Saw him in a lot of his earlier fights and have a great photo holding one of his belts with a city flag behind us. Still doesn't feel right that he's not here. I said to Mrs 2112 I don't think I've ever heard a single bad word or comment from anyone about him before and after his death. He was just liked by everyone from all walks of life and that was the measure of the man. RIP Blue.

Yep but car parks for concerts opens at 2.30 and stewards on car park from early morning on event days so I just wouldn't back on being allowed to park there

Just park on the Asda car park. That's what I'll be doing, you get an hour and half free.

I'd be surprised if they opened the car parks too, the construction workers can't use the usual blue parking on any CoOp event day. There will also be parking required for all those attending the wake at the Etihad.
