Ricky Hatton.....

He's never been the same since he got knocked out by Pacquiao, I think he even admitted to wanting to take his own life after that fight.....

It was pretty embarrassing to be honest, if it was just s normal guy no-one knew rambling on everyone would of thought "get this knob off the stage" but because its Ricky Hatton its funny...

May as well have Liam Gallagher walk on stage grab the mic say "United are wankers, City are great, I am god" then walk off..

Liam would be right on all three counts ;)

The way this club is going we'll start to develop these prim and proper media savvy celebrity guests who don't put a foot wrong and have that shiney white teeth hollywood look about them.

Maybe 5 seasons? who knows.... even sooner.

No Local lads like Liam/Noel or Ricky, just famous actors who know which club to choose to gain more audience for their latest Rom-Com flick.

Hugh Grant - The lifelong blue???????

Sadly ricky won't be going the distance in life if he carries on with his current lifestyle - -the priory did fuck all for the numpty!!!

the Priory story was a bullshit smokescreen as he didn't want to get done for the drugs. He only apologised and 'checked himself in' after he got busted. It made him look like a victim, when infact he's just an irresponsible, arrogant fool. He's got a young boy for starters, and he carries on like a right mug.

Getting starched as he did by Pac must'be been a hammer blow to his inflated ego, he bought into his own hype and really thought he had a chance against elite fighters around their prime. Unless he was joking when advising people to remortgage their homes and bet it on him to beat Pac.....

Just watched the interview on youtube (first time I got to see a decent version of the interview);
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppX1TH5WLj8&feature=g-all-u&context=G2c74ad1FAAAAAAAAAAA" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppX1TH5W ... AAAAAAAAAA</a>

Found it hard to watch, and sad as well.

Pac? Fucking hell, jealous much?
So this kid tries to remain grounded, keeps all his childhood mates and remain loyal to his background. Becomes one of the highest profile boxers of his generation, huge following worldwide, overcame numerous odds to get where he did. Fought some of the finest fighters out there and as far as I can personally remember, never shirked a bout(unless you count that clown from Sheffield) and went 10 rounds with arguably the best pound for pound boxer ever and he had an inflated ego?
Yes, he had too many on Saturday and granted, he probably does like a drink.
So what?
Perhaps there's a spot coming up on Loose Women you could apply for and advise the detritus of society on how to live their lives.

It's a real shame what he is doing to himself. He's a really nice lad but he has his problems. Hopefully he sorts himself out as he looks terrible at the moment.

I've been to a few Hatton fights and no doubt, he was one of the bravest and most talented British fighters ever. He's also a bonafide match attending celebrity blue, who helped raise the profile of our club. But he has never forgotten his roots and supported Manchester charities, boys clubs etc more than most over the years.
So, who gives a fuck that he enjoys rivalry and banter with United, rather than the blind hatred some of the keyboard warriors on here do.
As for him being pissed at a City game, well god help the majority of lads that I have been going to City with over the years. And FFS blues, let the bloke have a night out/watch the match without mithering him for photos or a boring conversation.

Nobody is disputing his right to simply get pissed-up before a City game. That's not what people have the issue with; it's the fact that he chose to do it knowing full well that he'd already made a commitment to do a live in-house television interview in front of loads of kids. If he wanted a day out on the piss with his mates he should have just told the club he wouldn't be able to do the interview, or he could have just waited until after he'd fulfilled his obligations. Neither is particularly difficult to do.

Fully agree with you on the 2nd part though.
