I watched Livramento against Aston Villa and played well even as LB...

Of course he isn't what Kyle Walker was 10 years ago (who is ?) but considering other options, he is a very good player.
Has pace, height, strength, defensive skills.. Not a generational talent like Walker but very decent fullback and considering his age, he will improve year-by-year...

And considering what options we have he will be a huge boost...
Back in 2017 we had Danilo at least, who contributed a lot
 
Right decision for me, whilst I have no issue with Rico being replaced for a better RB.

It’s not happening this season.

Forest where offering, ok money, not in any way good money (assume hoping we would sell under market value for a buy back, which is probably fair).

He is not a depreciating asset, his value will come from his age, potential England appearances and playing for City/ Pep for so long.

We would be able to get the same if not more next season.

So don’t see what we gain by selling him, given he is not taking a foreign squad place.

That’s the problem though - you don’t pay £80m for a “decent” right back.

It seems more & more likely that won't be happening, and we'll be "making do" at right back this season. Risky strategy as it's the one position in the squad we have an obvious quality gap.

What because he had one decent game?

He's played over 100 games now for the club, and I can recall a handful he's played well in

Let's not go over the top when he plays well, and then have a pop at those that have seen 100 games and made their mind up that he just isn't good enough

If he stays ill be fine with that, but I'm not expecting any more from him than I've seen already, he's a squad player at best

It’s you who are ignoring all the great games and remembering the handful of awful games.

He was playing for England not so long ago.

One decent game? Don’t make me laugh. The lad is only 20 and his career has just begun.

Not sure why you are bringing England in to it. Kyle Walker is still playing for England.

Or have a hissy fit and throw him under the bus when he has a poor game. Not saying you do, but there's plenty on here who do.
