Ridiculous article in The Star

First if all, who knew ISIS had these "field days"? Reminds me of the last day of school when I was a kid.

Second of all, how is it news worthy that one jabroni was wearing a City shirt?
Anything is newsworthy if it can be seen to portray city in a bad light, even though it is a nonsense story,it is just another attempt to stoke up anti city feeling amongst people through the media.

Front page.....

Well I'm sorry but I don't find this one bit funny.
A national newspaper witha headline of

ISIS 'Man City fans' take break from terror to star in 'Jihad Games'

Linking us with ISIS and Jihad games knowing who our owners are ffs.

Disgusting.

Watching the news on either bbc or sky over the last 20 odd years there always seems to be some fcuker with a rag shirt on in the background when they are filming in some remote or troubled location, just our luck when we finally get a City shirt on the news.......

Unless the star were actually there, how do they know these youngsters are jihadist, they are very likely to be just unlucky locals forced to take part.

No media agenda though.......

linking us with the most evil hated scumbags on the planet who butcher people without remorse.

FFS this needs legal action

First and best thing we can all do is not buy the paper in question, click on their webpage, and finally waste any more time on this abhorrent reporting. (note I will not even name the piece of journalistic shit)

At least it wasn't in The Sun. They'd probably have used a picture of Sterling to accompany the story.

I think it is appalling personally but this i have come to accept is what is considered sports or indeed and journalism in general.
A load of opinion and click bait is what most of it is.

I rarely venture from 5 specific sites for news now but strayed to the daily mail website the other day.
The home/front page had gif style animated headline pic showing someone get killed/badly beaten. I have blocked that site from my home network now because i never want to see these things and especially when i am eating my tea.

I used to laugh at the idea of that reporter in predator 2 being anything but a character from the mind of a colourful man, now imagine him with a (insert shit uk paper here) press badge, exactly! i can imagine it easily also.

Every time you see footage on the news from some god-forsaken, war-torn 'hot-spot' you see loads of footy shirts, usual suspects – the Rags, Chelsea, Arsenal, Barca or Real, AC Milan, even PSG... yet we get one muppet in a knock-off City shirt and they turn it into an story – fucking unbelievable!!!
