If he can turn a young midfielder into RB, I am sure he can do it again with someone little faster.

I'm watching a bit of the Fulham game and Antonee Robinson is playing really well. We've been linked before but maybe he could be a good Walker replacement. Can't say I've seen much of him so I don't know what he's like defensively.

probably no worse than when we signed Kyle tbh, but its a level below where we are if they makes sense. Will need some polishing.

Not sure if already mentioned! Ezra Carrington acadamy player. Looked progresive last season before picking up a calf injury & has been out for a while. Possibility if he is back to full fitness.

Getting mixed results from Google but it looks like Dumfries has 6 months left on his contract. Might be worth paying a bit in January. Always looked good when I’ve watched him.

Quick, strong, attacking and surprisingly good in the air for a fullback. I know he’s more of a wingback but that’s typically our average position in games. We need someone willing to run at defenders and link up with the attackers.

Oh yeah you're right. For some reason I thought he was a right footer playing lb who could play both sides a bit like cancelo.

Why are people calling Rico a right back? He is not. He is not a natural defender. Hes a midfielder being asked to be an auxiliary right back.

No we need to actually sign four full backs.
Frimpong and Davies as first choice.
Kerkez and Livramento as back up.
This is before we lookat the rest of majorly ageing squad.
Rico is a superb midfield player, but not a full back.

Agreed, but thankfully he has the potential to be a superb midfielder.

Rico is a talented football player. Gifted. But does he have a position in which his skill set fits? Not sure. Maybe a old style utility player will be his role - never a first choice but handy squad player?

Can see why your a tier 2 now tbf that's a shocking take.He is still learning his trade is only 19 and will fill out and strengthen up.Maybe reserve your judgment until then.

Maybe we should just look for another CB to play RB like Akanji did in the treble season, seeing how few decent RBs there are.

Walker’s been dreadful for the past 18 months, he’s completely given up or had his head turned by stuff going on outside.
