Right back options

Problem with that back 4 is that always one is injured usually John Stones
True, and when you go into a game as we did yesterday with the best holding midfielder in the world and 4 centre backs out injured, you’re on a hiding to nothing.

Frimpong got a buy back clause?
Can Frimpong defend?

Frimpong may help with goals, but not sure with his current play style he would help our defensive issues. Let’s leave attackers to score goals and get defenders who can defend.

The fact he was in City’s academy is a plus, but it ends there.

A lot of modern day full backs can't defend

TAA is heralded as a generational talent and can't

Cancelo was great at times for us but was poor defensively.

If we signed a player like Frimpong a wingback how would you propose we set up defensively/formation?

He could play high and wide like Walker did for a lot of last season, with Akanji Dias and Gvardiol operating as a back three
Would you assume we would have a left sided equivalent, or we only do this on the right side?

Only to me Gvardiol in this formation would be a LCB and assume you were thinking Akanji would be the RCB?
