Unpopular opinion but maybe Trai Hume ?(Sunderland)

If we don’t get Livramento.

Looks solid in every aspect for me and homegrown too.

Watch us keep trying until late in the transfer window only to be declined so we settle on someone subpar
Sign Wesley and loan him out if we get Livramento. Keep him if we don’t.

There’s something about him that makes me really want him here. But Livramento would be a much better signing.

When our team was functioning as normal Rico Lewis Was a great RB and was called up for England.

Let’s not be too hasty to loan/sell another young player who could still shine here.
He looked like Cafu when rodders was fit, that guys presence and reading of the game afforded security Paul Massey security would envy…

His absence only exposed his ability to elevate players who if we’re being honest, struggle without the absurd security blanket…

Now Khusanov, with a fit Rodri, could be the answer and then some; his athleticism with that level of cover, potentially, is dynamic as fek; I’m hoping the withdrawal was ironing out the creases

Question - we have a 24 yr old international RB with 50+ international caps & extensive PL experience fighting fit and currently on our premises.
He's played at top level clubs in Belgium, France, Portugal and Germany and we pay him $1m a year until 2027. Issa a definite contender - who is he?
