He cannot be any worse than playing Lewis there. That is obvious.
Physically capable for starters and has shown defensive abilities on several occasions that Lewis and Nunes simply wouldn't have dealt with.

Absolutely bizarre to not be playing him. That being said, he will probably start the next game and might have a dodgy first half and Pep will hook him and he wont be seen for several months.

For the record I think he would be fantastic at RB if stones was being asked to push into midfield from cb and khusanov was then tucking into to form a back 3.

However I can’t imagine he would offer much going forward though I’d love to see him try!

if we are going to have Ait-Nouri or Gvardiol are on the left, then we need the right side to stay back and tuck into the centre when needed.

If we have two flying fullbacks with our current issues we will be even more exposed.

Like Gvardiol before him, Khusanov's a CB so let's play him in his preferred position & sort the RB position properly.

Don't know much about him. Watched him once. Read somewhere he was a poor defender. Could be a player but I highly doubt he's the man that fixes our RB issue this season.

This, I don't get the hype he has pace and is a very raw young and in experienced CB. I don't see composure, a great passing ability nor does he look comfortable reading the game and knowing when to tackle. It doesn't mean this wont come in time but he is our worst first team CB at the moment, all be it with the most upside potential.

Cambiasso lol, That ship sailed about 6mths ago. Guehi rumours started two days ago and Donnarumma is still well on the cards, was Eze ever linked?

But I guess with your decades of experience as a director of football you have more knowledge on these things.
