Right back options

I'd like to see Alleyne given a go as RB at some point. Zero idea if he's played there ever, but seeing his game v Brighton I feel he could develop well there.
Only if its a RB who is part of a back 3 in possession who can make some of those mazy runs to overload a side.

Not a bombing forward RB whose job in attacking is also a priority.

I just feel that if Lewis can do a job there, and if O'Reilly can do a job there, who's to say Alleyne couldnt?

Might be totally wrong and I've only seen him play once - and not in that position - but nobody would have expected Nico to make the left-back role his own either. Max looks decent on the ball, confident, can defend a bit and can pick a pass. Maybe not first choice there, but could be worth a run out v Galatasaray if we can seal qualification v Bodo first.

Just get a proper right back in, anyone will do..just ffs get someone in to do the job, the fullbacks and dm positions should be priority..Rodri will have to be eased back in needs proper backup

It makes more sense to have Nico go LB because his attacking qualities as a midfielder become even better as a LB.

In fact, the general rule is you can make players play further back, but not further up.

On Max, he looks good on the ball... for a CB, the second you ask him to play like a midfielder I think you will see him outclassed by actual midfielders.

But I wouldn't mind seeing him maybe progress into a John stones role, where has is still a CB but enters midfield in possession next to an actual DM.

He has played there for Watford I think once.
According to transfermarkt in his entire career he has only played in the following positions:
Centre back 102 times, left back twice (both for City in PL 2 (24/25)), right midfield once for Watford in the championship (25/26)

Rico is better off in midfield.
I gave Gonzalez a chance when many said he wasn't good enough. I gave Nunes a chance when most threw him head first under the bus... everyone is singing both of their praises now.

Rico is simply a bridge too far for me.

He played as Right Wingback I think.

At Watford, the players call him Johnny Stones.
