I hope whoever we get is better then Nunes and improves the teamI hope any RB we do get isn’t one that’s going to walk in and take Nunes’s spot. He should be the starter (Nunes) and whoever comes in be the back up.
IMO anyway.
We don’t need one.
Nunes has been top this season and Khusanov can cover there if needs be.
We do the squads need a young long term option at right back. Nunes is starter right now but every other position has a young player that is for the future, apart from right back. Khusanov is going to be our starting centre back. Most our right back targets are under the age of 22 Livramento the oldest at 23.
So the club are looking long term. Kayode for example if you give him a 4 year deal he will be 25 going into his prime when Nunes will be 32 at the end of his prime.
Or Givario Read will be 23/24 ready to step in, it just improves the squad so that when Nunes is injured or needs a rest you've got his understudy ready to slot in instead of make shift cover, it provides competition to Nunes meaning if he makes a error or mistake the young right back is there to take his spot.
Competition improves the overall squad and the players in that position.
I suppose we’ll see mate. I’d be happy with Nunes as first choice RB, cover if injured could come from Khusanov, Stones or Lewis. We do the squads need a young long term option at right back. I agree but it’s going to be harder to convince them players who are starting at their clubs to give that up to be a back up to a player that isn’t even a right back? Obviously money helps and a bigger club but still a tricky sell imo unless Livramento is signed and he is the main starter
We already know Stones won't be here, and I wouldn't be surprised if Lewis leaves as well.I suppose we’ll see mate. I’d be happy with Nunes as first choice RB, cover if injured could come from Khusanov, Stones or Lewis.
Of course, if we sell Lewis or Stones, a new young RB would be needed.
“If”, mate.We already know Stones won't be here, and I wouldn't be surprised if Lewis leaves as well.

No we don't, we have one of the best there is ;)We clearly need a specialist right back who can be first choice

Seriously who is better than Nunes in this league?
Even in Europe I can only think of Hakimi but for what he’d cost we’d be better off signing a midfielder.
TAA can’t defend, Livramento always injured, who else is there?
Nunes is quality.
I hope whoever we get is better then Nunes and improves the team
So name the better RB's than Nunes.....I could do with a laugh! It was in response to have Nunes and Stones/ Lewis or Khus to cover.
I think we want someone who plays RB and would come with the aim to be first choice.
I like Nunes, think he has done very well.
But he is not the 2nd best RB in the world.
