I want us to go after Jerome Boateng at Hamburg as you know they are always willing to sell. I would do that and get a coach on him and Richards and have them battle it out for the position. Richards obviously has the pace necessary but needs to learn some better technique and defending and Boateng brings height and aggressiveness.

We could play 3 at the back with him as wing back or as a conventional right back with Elano in front of him.

Richards has been awful all season and Zab has been used more and more as a midfielder.

I think we need a world class right back, someone in the dani alves mode. Who do you think we could get? Is glen johnson good enough? what about Maicon?

i'd prefer it if we put a fitness coach and a head coach on Micah to get him slimmed down and focussed.

He still has the attributes we need, they just need shaping.

No to Corluka. He's to slow. He's not even starting at Spurs is he? I've always thought he'd be more suited to Serie A.

Glen Johnson would be good. I don't think that Dani Alves is realistic at this point in time. For RB, and I might get stick for this but I don't care, I think the best thing we could do is take the "Hughes approach" and go get an experienced, Premiership hardened Right Back.

Or maybe Micah will have a Stevie Ireland turnaround next season, who knows.
