Right decision to take robinho off?

wrong decision to take Elano off that was for sure.

completely agree. He was our best player in the first half and the only player who looked like he may unlock their defense. The idea that Kelvin on the right and sweep in the middle is better that elano in the middle and sweep on the right is just ridiculous. Evans and Etuhu looked completely out of place when they came on. They are not prem players yet. Unfit Boj in the first minute he was on showed what a huge difference in class there is between our good players and our young players.

It seemed to me that MH gave up on the game at half time.

Robinho was lucky to last as long as he did ..... he was absolutely dire ......... and if he wants to be the worlds best player he has to make this side tick when we're losing away from home on days like today , not drift completely out of it!
spot on fella

robinho was injured so yes he should have been taken off.

imnnot sure what people expect when he is so isolated.........

he is not a player that should be or you need tracking back to get in tackles......he isnt that type of player.........

in games where we are going to be under pressure for vast majority of the game he is going to be pretty much annonomous until we build a team that can go to away games and bully other teams

but you put him on the pitch cause he is one player who at tiems can create that bit of something out of nothing and get you a point when you dont really deserve it

If that was Elano coming to life he must have been asleep beforehand. He was having a shocker and anyone could see he was contributing nothing which is why he was correctly taken off.

No magic in his boots today, no effort either. He simply wasn't up for it today, that much was apparent from very early on, his positioning wasn't that of a player hungry for the ball and when he did occasionally get himself on the ball he was dreadful.

As for 'he can create something out of nothing', how many time has he done that away in the league? Waste of a shirt in away league games.

Elano was class in 2nd half, ireland swp or robinho should have been brought off instead

What do you all expect Robinho to do when he receives it out wide and Chelsea swarm him with 2 or 3 men for cover with another 7 back and we have people at a turtles walk pace in the center circle with just Caicedo up to pass to who is also surrounded by Chelsea players? We were dire today and there was no commitment at all.

Well I wouldn't go as far as to say he was class, but he was definitely our best attacker and should not have come off.
