Just watched the latest inside City video with an appearance from Merlin, would of liked a bit more content but maybe that will come down the line. Anyway it got me thinking of our legends & top players since the takeover and I found myself asking these questions:-

Which player left at the right time ?
For me that has to be Vinnie (a perfect ending)

Which player left at the wrong time ?
My answer would be Yaya (should of been earlier)

If we could of had another five years of a player in their prime who ?
Definitely Dave (an absolute pleasure to watch)

Right time? Definitely Vinny.

Wrong time? Tal Ben Haim. We should have fired him back to Chelsea in a canon as soon as his first training session finished.

More time? Really think Sergio could have beaten Rooney in the all-time PL goalscoring charts were it not for those injuries.

Definitely agree with Yaya. His legs had gone after 32. Tall fella, big unit, you rarely see them playing at a high level into their mid-30s yet he was still with us at 35. I think he should have gone after the 2014-15 season yet he had three more years.

I wish we’d had both Yaya and Fernandinho from a younger age. Both only came to us when they were 27. Imagine if we’d had them from when they were 23!

Which player left at the right time ? -

Trautmann, he was still a very good keeper but he left the first team the best in the business and left no memory of decline. was still very good in the reserves afterwards.

Which player left at the wrong time ?

Shaun Wright Phillips, should never have left us for Chelsea.

If we could of had another five years of a player in their prime who ?

Colin Bell, we were robbed
