Hard to believe this guy was England captain once upon a time. I know that it's not the done thing to be articulate and scandal free (Terry, Gerrard) but this guy seems borderline stupid with some of the things he writes on twitter, I cringe at the thought of him leading the national team out. I'm convinced he's completely delusional and sees himself as far more important than he is, a washed up footballer with a failing 'brand'.

Fuck me. Just imagine if a white footballer made anything like a bad comment regards a person's skin colour who wasn't. There would be fucking uproar. But nothing will be done for basically calling Cole an 'uncle Tom'.

I agree. E-mails should be fired off to the FA about this. Basically, he is saying all black players should stick together and back each others stories.
It'll be worth trying to get some shit stuck on him.
