Is Cheetham Hill OK? I have an aunt, small cousin, and grandparents in Cheetham Hill and it is full of the sort of people (to be politically correct) who are doing this.

I suggest people keep this up if worried <a class="postlink" href="http://twitter.com/#!/gmpolice" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://twitter.com/#!/gmpolice</a>

BTW - ALL kinds of people are joining in down London.

Live in the city centre/salford and can see over bury new road and cheetham hill road, havn't heard any sirens and can't see anything going on yet, hopefully we've all got a bit more pride than those cunts.

I guess those who would do this would have to make an effort to get to the centre with is a bonus. London has many residential areas within it.

I live 20 odd floors up mate and can see over the most of Manchester, plus the residential areas in here are alot closer to the city centre than those in London. Moss side, Hulme and Cheetham Hill are all within a 10-20 minute walk.

Laughable that 5000 police are on duty for the royal wedding...

A mass riot kicks off in London and only 1700 are out there.

You'd die to stop people like me taking charge who can look at the greater good and could make society as a whole better for the decent people? Youd' rather we let rioters run loose knowing they won't get punished whilst they try to brick police and set homes on fire?
If I had to, yes. I would do my utmost to fascist scum like you taking charge under the flag of the 'greater good'.

Beautiful sentiments. I'd happily die by your side which is probably quite shocking as we're clearly both bearded, sandal wearing, vegan lesbians.

Times like this I'm glad I don't live in the City anymore. Live about 25 miles away in a town. Shouldn't kick off here hopefully.

Between Liverpool and Manc? Sounds about the same place as me, if so.

Wait what is that accurate mate ?

Thats a disgrace if its true. I just hope its due to those with riot training being fewer in number.
